This restaurant is in my neighborhood, it’s one of my favorite places to go for a snack, or dinner. The staff are exceptional and being from Greece, and having been raised on the Mediterranean diet I think the quality of the food is very good. Excellent value, it will forever be one of my Staples.
i had such a great dinner here. def recommend doing the mazzat platter- 3 cold and 3 hot plates. a great way to share a meal with friends and try multiple things on the menu.
my favorite, favorite was the warek enab (which i know as dolma, which i think is what they call stuffed grapeleaves in other places?)- which honestly i don’t usually love. but i guess i had never good one before. so much flavor, perfect amount of spice and lemon and perfectly cooked rice. the hummus was so smooth, and i would definitely buy that at a store. puts sabra to shame, you know what i mean!! also recommend the batata harra (potatoes) and the mosaka (eggplant). the ouzi (rice with lamb) was just okay- it lacked flavor, which was surprising to me because the rice and lamb in the warek enab was packed with flavor. but the ouzi was good if you mixed in the hummus and ate it with the pita. the one dish i didn’t care for was the tabouli. also lacked flavor, had too much parsley.
It’s one of my favorite Mediterranean place in the city. Everything is so good and well made. My favorites are their Labne and Fatet Batinjan. Decent wine selection too. Copy and cute atmosphere that’s unpretentious.
Great service and amazing food – get the tasting platter so you can have a bit of everything with a friend
Super sweet, spot. Lovely waiters and great Mediterranean fare. Walked in just to have a few appetizers and some drinks and were totally surprised by great food and wonderful service. Healthy food and cozy spot !
Another great experience! 2 times in one week!
Food is absolutely superb. We always opt for a bunch of hot/cold Mezze and one meal and share it amongst ourselves. It’s the best way to taste the many great dishes here.
The restaurant is on the smaller side, so if you can, make a reservation!
Absolutely delicious. The best Lebanese food I have ever tasted. Portions are smaller and meant for sharing family style, which is more fun too because you get to taste everything! Next time I am in SF, I will go here again.
